Unschooled is a documentary film focused on a world where children have the power to decide what and how they learn. The film follows the story of three teens – Amani, Miles and Jaya – and their families in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Germantown as they transition from public school to the newly-opened Natural Creativity Center (NCC). NCC believes in trusting young people and their families to decide on the content that is of value and importance to them. When Amani, Miles and Jaya enroll at NCC, these radical ideas are put to the test.

Join us after the film for a panel discussion with Co-Director Rachel Beth Anderson, facilitators, parents and students from Natural Creativity and other education experts.
